WHY PLANT TREES IN A WILDLIFE FOOD PLOT?
To ensure successful food plots, it is essential to prioritize flexibility and variety. Regardless of the selected primary food source plant, regular maintenance is necessary on an annual basis. However, trees offer a virtually maintenance-free option for providing sustenance, making them a reliable choice as they are everlasting compared to changing ground cover.
WILDLIFE FOOD PLOT TREE SEEDLINGS
Each tree comes with a Survival Pack which includes:
- 60” Tree Pro tree protector to protect from deer and accelerate grow 5 to 7 times.
- Weed mat with 4 staples
- Nutra Pro controlled release fertilizer pack
- Root inoculation which introduces beneficial bacteria and mycorrhizal to promote health and growth.
- ** You will just need to provide a 60” support stake (can be wood, rebar, pvc, or a fence post. It isn’t limited to these things, but you want to make sure it’s something that will last in the ground for 4-5 years. We recommend to not use Bamboo.)
