Partly in response to customer feedback as well as our own research efforts, Tree Pro has introduced two
new protectors.
These products expand the usability of a product already known for its versatility and broad customer acceptance.
They incorporate all the advantages of smaller sizes, including Tree Pro's proprietary pigmentation
formula that promotes improved tree diameter growth with reduced heat build-up common to other protectors.
According to CEO Tom Mills, the company worked closely with a number of "Beta Test Sites" to prove the usefulness
of the larger sizes. "Problems with leaves getting bunched up, terminal buds that get turned upside down, crooked branches,
etc. led us inevitably to this product enhancement."
With both new sizes, growth and survival have improved dramatically.
TREES NEED ROOM TO GROW
Just like people! Too many bad things happen to trees stuck inside of small protectors. Why take
the chance? If you have any doubt at all about whether your trees have enough room, choose the larger size.
TREE PRO SuperWide protectors are 4 1/2 inches in diameter. They come in lengths of 24", 36",
48" and 60".
The SuperWide protector is ideal for larger trees as well as for trees with compound leaf structure, such
as black walnut.
Malcolm Olson of Olson Tree Farms (Erie, PA) found the SuperWides a "lifesaver... for the trees, especially
black walnut. With trees having compound leaves the difference was substantial. It's well worth the few extra pennies
to get this kind of response. Anything less is a waste of good trees, not to mention the cost in time and money."

DOUBLEWIDES
This is the Big Bertha of tree protectors. At a whopping 7" in diameter, it's designed to provide
a nurturing environment for larger trees and trees with a compound-leaf structure or a spreading growth habit,
including fruit trees, ornamentals, evergreens and chestnuts. It comes in lengths of 24" and 48".
It can even be used in the garden to protect tomato plants and rose bushes from rabbits and groundhogs.
As with all Tree Pro protectors, they can be reused on other plants.
