The only other thing possibly as lovely as a tree is a photo of tree. Enjoy!

OLSON'S TREE FARM: May 1999
Malcolm and Henrietta Olson agree: Putting two Tree Pros together to make a larger protector is a snap. "There are some species of trees that simply need more space" says Malcolm.

In this photo, Henrietta has contected two Tree Pros together and is installing the resulting wider protector around an English Walnut tree. "This gives us a tube with a diameter of over seven inches," says Henrietta. "No other protector we know of can do this, plus provide all the other benefits Tree Pro does. Why gamble on anything else?"

OLSON'S TREE FARM: July 2004
The Olsons fastenened two four-foot Tree Pro protectors together to install around a grafted hickory. Half-inch rebar was used for stakes as it is a very windy area.

Editor's Note:  In 2005, Tree Pro introduced a new seven-inch diameter Tree Pro protector, called "DoubleWide."  It is no longer necessary to tie two standard width protectors together, although this remains an option that will continue to be an advantage to some planters.

BRITISH COLUMBIA: August 1994
A three-year old cedar in a five-foot Tree Pro 3.5 inches in diameter. Tree was planted as a fingerling.  Tens of thousands of these cedar fingerlings have been planted in the Pacific Northwest, resulting in dramatically improved survival rates and enormous savings in time and money.
